Salesforce on September 11, 2026 introduced a portfolio of job-ready Agentforce agents aimed at high-value work across sales, service, commerce, employee experience, and the back office. Instead of starting every deployment from a blank agent, each ships with skills, actions, and data models for a named job and plugs into Customer 360 context and existing Salesforce processes.

The named lineup includes Casey (customer service across voice, SMS, WhatsApp, and web chat), Paige (IT and HR employee requests via Slack, portals, and existing tools), Carter (shopper discovery, Q&A, and in-chat checkout), Marshall (supply-chain and back-office orchestration with deterministic execution and an audit trail), Piper (inbound lead engagement and qualification), and Fin (complex customer-experience workflows, including Operator and Fin Apex models). Those six are generally available. Hunter, the outbound sales agent that works a pipeline from research through outreach with sellers over weeks and months, is in pilot with general availability planned for November 2026.

Alongside the portfolio, Salesforce unveiled a long-horizon runtime so agents can pursue goals across days and weeks rather than ending when a single conversation ends. Hunter is the first agent on that runtime, using memory across sessions, durable execution that can resume or course-correct, and dynamic steering from user feedback. Salesforce says more portfolio agents and customer-built long-horizon agents will follow on Agentforce.

Platform additions include Multi-Agent Orchestration (generally available) to route work across specialized agents, AI Skills in Agentforce Coworker (pilot now; GA October 2026) so employees can teach a task once and scale it, and Agent Optimizer (GA October 2026) to refine agents from session traces. Agents can combine reasoning with deterministic rules via Agent Script, Salesforce’s open-source language for agent behavior. The company cited more than 7 billion Agentic Work Units delivered across Agentforce and Slack over two years, including 3.2 billion in Q2 alone, plus customer results such as Engine resolving half of chat inquiries with its help agent and Perk building 60% of sales pipeline with its outbound agent.

DigiEditorial verified the announcement against Salesforce’s official product story and independent coverage. Availability and packaging for individual agents follow the GA and pilot timelines Salesforce published; features still in pilot should not be treated as generally available today.
